I actually made this card mid-November, and filmed a tutorial for YouTube, but didn't have time to edit and post until recently (thank you vacation days!). As you can see it is a card for Liz, to thank her for a decade of being my wonderful boss before she resigned.
I won't go into too much detail here, since it's all in the video - and if you reference an earlier post (called Monthly Challenge - Card in a Box) you can see a diagram of where to cut and score, along with a link to the tutorial I first saw on Splitcoaststampers. That blog post is HERE.
What I DO want to share here is that I used new items from the brank new January - June 2022 Mini Catalog. I always giggle when I say "mini catalog" because there are SO MANY new and wonderful items in this 90 page mini! I am using the Blessings from Home Bundle (found on page 60). I mixed it with papers from our Annual Catalog, the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Papers.
I love that stamp set!
After reviewing my video I realize I didn't explain much about the window sheets that were used. In the next photo you can see them at work (if you look hard enough). The strips of window sheet are used to pop up some of your elements. And I just love that as big as the card looks when it is open, it just neatly folds up and fits in a standard medium envelope.
Ok, there you have it. To watch my YouTube video click this photo below:
Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I wish you all the best for a wonderful, stress-free, happy, healthy new year that is of course filled with lots of paper crafts!!
Below you will find clickable links to all the products used on this card project.
