This card looks complicated but was a lot of fun to create. I followed Lisa's tutorial per her post above. I used Cajun Craze Cardstock for the base of my card, decorated with Color Me Autumn Designer Series Papers and Rustic Crate Stamp set with coordinating Rustic Crate dies.
The above photo shows how the card can fold up to fit nicely into a regular envelope. There is also plenty of room to add a nice message on the back panels, as you will see below. Another fun thing about this card layout is that it will stand up on your desk when open. I made a short little snippet video to show you how it opens, below.
And now I'll share my friend Donna's card using this same Floating Diamond layout - she used the oh so adorable Hey Chick stamp set and coordinating papers.
